Saw these deities on display and they are intriguing... especially the elephant god perusing a book.
A picture of rotund bliss....
The Buddha reclining...
The elephant god again with numerous hands...
The elephant god with many heads...

Thanks for stopping by today. It's always interesting to meet new places and see the places they share in their blogs. I like the elephant God reading a book. Look at the way he has his legs crossed and everything!
I like these. There is much more to each one than meets the eye. I just came across your blog and I think it is the first one I have encountered from India. I will have to keep watching from way over here in the United States.
I am just gonna put up pictures and scenes that catch my interest. I do like nature and I like fiddling around with a camera so as I go through life in South India, any 'moment' that seems worthy of being captured and frozen in time will find a way to my blog... so that years from now, when I am well into the fossilizing stage, future generations will see the world through my eyes and try to sustain her. I wish I could do more for our enchanting planet, after all she is the basis of life...
