Gentle Giant...

This beautiful fellow crossed my house early one morning... I do hope his mahout is a nice person and that this gentle giant is having a peaceful life. Click on the picture for a larger view.

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.

Reminds me of the painting of an elephant I have hanging on my living room wall. :-)

What a beautiful creature. I have a great fondness for elephant images. It would be exciting to have such an animal walking by my house.

I love this scene with the soft light. It's really beautiful. Your quote is perfect as well Karen.

Oh Karen, I LOVE ELEPHANTS SO MUCH ! Look at the way he/she just struts around like he knows what his purpose is: to transport his human!

You have inspired me to draw an elephant. I illustrate, but have not ventured out to draw such a beast. And what a great thing to see out your window! Thank you so very much for visiting my blog. Anita

The colors in your photo look like a fine watercolor. I love that proud elephant and am reminded how close we are through blogging. Gentle giant is a wonderful way to describe the elephants.
